L\u2019occasion pour moi de rappeler que teindre et peindre avec les v\u00e9g\u00e9taux invite \u00e0 une r\u00e9flexion \u00e9pist\u00e9mologique sur les sens, la primaut\u00e9 de la vue, des sens de l\u2019observation, du toucher, voire du go\u00fbt et de l\u2019odorat, dans la conception tincturiale et dans la fabrication des substances\/mati\u00e8res destin\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019encrage. This will be an opportunity for me to reiterate that dyeing and painting with plants invites epistemological reflection on the senses, the primacy of sight, observation, touch, and even taste and smell, in the design of dyes and in the preparation of the substances\/materials used for inking.
